I sincerely went in their with extremely low assumptions. I left The Devil in Me because everything else follows the same formula and will never compare to the original Exorcist. I can think of three good movies about exorcism. The Exorcist, Exorcist 3, and Emily Rose’s exorcism. The plot really picks up speed! Although there is no real character development, I will say that Russell Crowe plays the role admirably. It’s a great performance mixed with a joke; whatever it is, it works! It doesn’t really do anything novel; we’ve seen everything before, but this was better than expected for some reason. Give it some time.

Story: Plot: Some love stories are not simple; Sweety’s is one such story. She must contend with her over-enthusiastic family who wants to get her married, a young writer who is completely smitten by her, a secret that she harbours close to her heart, and ultimately the truth that her true love might not find acceptance in her family and society. Resolving these issues proves hilarious, touching, and life-changing.
